Our Values: GIVE
We’ve talked about how crucial our foundational values are to the running of Released. By basing our decision-making, strategy, and culture on three important concepts, we are building a business that more people will want to be a part of.
Providing admin and business support services to tradies and service-based businesses is what we do, and we do it very well. Underlying that is a desire to contribute goodness and value beyond what happens during billable hours. To our clients, to our team, and to the wider world. To do so, we are guided by our three values. We’ve already expanded on GROW and GATHER, and now it’s time for the final piece of the puzzle:
GIVE.
This value centers around an attitude and spirit of generosity. We want to be, as a company and as people, generous of heart. In work, in relationships, in interactions with strangers, on social media, and anywhere else. It’s a good way to be.
Giving is also about giving back—honouring those who share their time and resources to benefit us. We recently sponsored an award for the Hire A Hubby national awards dinner, as a token of appreciation for a fantastic working relationship. It’s important to nurture our connections.
Another aspect of this crucial value is celebrating achievements and special occasions with our people. This might mean a Christmas dinner with the fabulous Released team where everyone is spoilt and appreciated. It also shows up in the gifts for our clients to mark the birth of a child or a happy occasion like a wedding, or to send our condolences during a difficult time. We like to give, and jump on any opportunity.
Donating to charities that align with our values is another way we like to give. Supporting organisations that are doing good in our communities and our country is something we are in a privileged position to do. We don’t take that lightly.
