We’ve spoken on our blog in the past about our foundational values of GROW, GATHER, and GIVE. Those things continue to underpin what we do here at Released—in the past few years, we’ve done significant amounts of growing, plenty of gathering, and a lot of giving to charities that our people have chosen.
However, there’s another important and far-reaching concept that guides our work, and this one’s an acronym: GRIT! It stands for grace, resilience, integrity, and tenacity, and these are all qualities we aim to exemplify as we go about our mahi.
GRACE: Business support and virtual assistance come with their challenges, as does any line of work. Our day-to-day involves a lot of communication: with our clients, with their customers, with each other. In all interactions, we aim to have grace for ourselves and grace for other people. We recognise that we—and they—are human, and act with kindness.
RESILIENCE: Life and business both come with their challenges. In the years since 2020, that has become more evident than ever. We roll with the punches, learn the lessons on offer, make changes where necessary, and come back better than ever. It’s so important to be resilient, and our experience with navigating what life throws at us enriches and deepens what we can offer our clients.
INTEGRITY: This is everything! We communicate the good and bad honestly with our team members and clients. There is transparency in our services and pricing. Our integrity sits alongside our skills as a crucial component of what we offer.
TENACITY: Sheer refusal to give up has seen us achieve our goals, and this perseverance makes us the perfect partner in your business goals, too. We are relentless in pursuit of a good outcome, and that makes us an asset to your team.
All together, these values add up to GRIT: a word that not only represents parts but a whole. We believe grit to be a demonstration of strength of character, an amalgamation of all the concepts outlined above.
